Please take note of the following important dates and deadlines as we are preparing for our 30th Anniversary Gala!

 💰 June Tuition is Due

 💳 No checks will be accepted after Saturday, June 13, 2026.

 🎟️ Ticket Sales

Ticket Sales will be held at Dance Sensation beginning on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11am-1pm

                    -Seating is assigned, so purchase early for the best available seats.

                    -Tickets are $30 per seat through June 26.

                    -Tickets increase to $35 per seat beginning June 27, 2026.

                    -Tickets will continue to be sold daily leading up to performance weekend.

📸 Picture Day

Picture Day will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Dance Sensation. Please refer to the Picture Day Schedule for your dancer's assigned time.

 🖼️ Picture Pick-Up & Purchase

 Pictures may be viewed/purchased on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 5pm–8pm at Dance Sensation.

 💵 Outstanding Balances

 All tuition, lesson fees, costume balances, and any outstanding charges must be paid in full by Friday, June 26, 2026. Please note: Students with outstanding balances will not be permitted to perform in the gala. No exceptions will be made.

 👕 Dance Gala 30^th Anniversary T-Shirt Orders

 T-shirt orders are due by Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00pm.

                    -Cost: $25.00

                    -Additional charges may apply for extended sizes (XXL and above).

                    -Dancers participating in the Company Finale Dance are required to purchase a T-shirt.

 📖 Boosters & Program Advertisements

 Booster messages and program advertisements are due by Monday, June 22, 2026.

PICTURE DAY 2026

SUNDAY, JUNE 14, 2026

This year's Picture Day schedule has been divided by class to help the day run smoothly and efficiently. Each class has been assigned a specific time slot and will begin with a group photo, followed by individual photographs. Please remember that there is no obligation to purchase photos, and there is no additional cost for participating in the group picture. We encourage all dancers to be included in their class photo. Miss Susan and the Dance Sensation staff will be available throughout the day to assist with costumes, accessories, and any questions you may have. All students are expected to arrive on time and dressed in their first costume as listed on the schedule. All dancers should wear the appropriate color dance shoes assigned by their teacher at the beginning of the year.

 IMPORTANT REMINDER: Photo orders may be picked up only on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the studio between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.

 ·        Company & Solo Dancers: If Picture Day is running ahead of schedule, please take advantage of any available free time to have your individual photos taken. This will help keep the day running smoothly and on schedule for everyone.

·        If you are unable to attend your assigned time slot, please speak with Miss Susan, who will be happy to help arrange an alternate time for your dancer's individual photographs.

·        As a courtesy to our guest photographer and your fellow classmates, we ask that all dancers and families make every effort to arrive on time for their scheduled photo session.

          Please find below the modified schedule for our final week of rehearsals at Dance Sensation Dance Academy, taking place June 22–June 25, 2026. The schedules for our Stage Rehearsal on Saturday, June 27, and Performance Day on Sunday, June 28, can be found on the following pages. These final rehearsals are extremely important and are designed to help dancers feel confident, prepared, and performance-ready as we head into Gala Weekend. We ask that all dancers make attendance a priority and arrive on time for their scheduled rehearsals. Please take a few moments to review all schedules carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask.

Friday, June 26^th – PRODUCTION DAY - DANCER REST DAY/ EMERGENCY REHEARSALS

**STAGE REHEARSAL**

SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 2026

               This year's Stage Rehearsal will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Noel S. Ruiz Theatre in Oakdale. Students should NOT wear their costumes to this rehearsal. To help the rehearsal run efficiently and to ensure costumes remain clean and performance-ready, all dancers should attend in comfortable dance attire. However, students must wear the correct style and color of shoes & tights that they will be wearing during the performance.

               All students should arrive early so that we may begin rehearsal promptly at 11:00am. To help the rehearsal run smoothly, we will rehearse classes with our younger dancers during the first portion of the day. We anticipate rehearsing the Finale at approximately 12:30pm, after which our younger students will be dismissed, generally by 1:00pm. Please note that the order of classes listed below is not the order in which dances will be rehearsed on stage. For classes listed in the Second Block, dancers may be dismissed before 4:00pm once all of their dances have been rehearsed and they have received permission from Miss Susan. Students participating in Company or Line Dances may be required to remain slightly later than 4:00pm. Please make every effort to arrive on time, as late arrivals can significantly delay the rehearsal process.

               As a courtesy to our families, Dance Sensation does not consider the Stage Rehearsal to be a "closed rehearsal." However, due to theatre policies and limited seating, we ask that only one parent or guardian per dancer be present, if necessary, in the auditorium. Please do not invite extended family members or friends to attend. This is a working rehearsal, and dancers will be receiving important staging instructions and spacing information that require their full attention. An archival video recording of the performance will be available for purchase on DVD or USB flash drive following the recital.

               Please Note: No food or beverages are permitted in the auditorium at any time.

Performance Day Reminders 

June 28, 2026

Noel S. Ruiz Theatre - Oakdale, NY

v  All students must arrive no later than 4:15 PM. 

v  Auditorium doors will open at approximately 4:45 PM 

v  Younger students will be able to watch the performance from the back of the auditorium under staff supervision. Students will be escorted to the backstage area when it is time for them to perform. If you feel your child may have difficulty being separated from your family for an extended period, please speak with Miss Susan about alternative arrangements. 

v  There will be a short intermission. During this time, we ask that all patrons be respectful of fellow audience members. Concessions and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. 

v  Advanced students and performers with multiple costume changes will be assigned a designated dressing room spot. We ask that all dancers be respectful of others' belongings and personal space. 

v  Students should arrive wearing their first dance costume. The performance order will be emailed prior to the dance gala, and it will be posted throughout the theater. 

v  Hair and makeup should be completed before arriving at the theatre. Spray glitter is not permitted. 

v  NO cameras, video cameras, or recording equipment will be permitted. Extensive recording is disruptive to audience members and can create safety concerns for performers. Anyone found using unauthorized recording equipment may be asked to leave the auditorium. 

v  NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM OR DRESSING ROOMS. 

v  Students should remain in their last performance costume for the Finale. Alternatively, dancers who have purchased a Gala T-shirt may choose to wear it for the Finale. 

v  Please write your dancer's name inside all shoes, costumes, Gala T-shirts, and personal belongings, as many items look alike and trying to find a missing item backstage can be difficult. 

v  We ask that parents, family, and patrons refrain from posting photos or videos of the performance on social media. An archival recording of the performance will be made available. Also, our choreography is our own creative property, and we ask that you please do not share choreographic material publicly without permission. 

v  During the performance, we ask that everyone embody the values of respect and support, not only for the performers on stage, but also for fellow audience members and the integrity of the event. This is a learning and celebratory experience for everyone. Any behavior that detracts from these ideals will be addressed accordingly. Let’s all show kindness, consideration, and respect. 

v  Most importantly, HAVE FUN, SMILE, AND ENJOY YOUR MOMENT ON STAGE!
